  1. This archive includes BEAV (Binary Editor and Viewer) version 1.40
  2. compiled for OS/2 2.x using emx 0.8g. It was compiled with -Zomf -Zsys
  3. therefore it does not require emx.dll which is not included.

  5. The author of beav is Peter Reilley (pvr@wiis.wang.com). The original
  6. OS/2 port is by Kai Uwe Rommel (rommel@jonas.gold.sub.org).
  7. This archive includes a couple of bug fixes and a binary EXE compiled
  8. by me, Michele Marziani (marziani@ferrara.infn.it).

  10. This version includes the following bug fixes:
  11. 1) The original beav had a problem when termcap.dat was located on a
  12.    different disk drive. It couldn't be found as, say, d:/emx/etc/termcap.dat.
  13. 2) The makefile for OS/2 didn't include language.obj. Reworked for emx
  14.    support ONLY (no MSC support. Rebuild with  'nmake beav.exe').
